EPISODE I - THE BEGINNING..
It was a bright Wednesday afternoon when Yuna got a notification on her phone signalling that she had received a dm. Seeing a familiar icon, she couldn’t help but smile to herself. She had spoken to this person on the timeline a couple of times and she had enjoyed their interactions, so she was somewhat excited to read and reply to it. Opening up the dm, it would be an understatement to say his mass dm impressed her, which is why it only took her exactly two minutes to come up with something to say back and then pressed send before she could stop herself; although, she was quite happy with her response. She just hoped, he liked it too.
Three hours passed when she got another notification from the mystery person and as bad as it may have looked to him, she read and replied to it straight away. In all honesty, it blew her mind how fast they clicked and how all she wanted to do was keep the conversation going; lucky for her, that’s exactly what happened and they continued talking into the night. What she didn’t even realize though, was the fact she was smiling the entire time..
Yuna Sato had Jackson Park to thank for that.
The girl knew for a fact it was the start of something, maybe it wasn’t going to be romantic and she wasn’t really expecting it to be; but what she was one hundred percent sure of was that she enjoyed talking to him and she felt it in her bones that she would be lucky to have someone like him by her side, even if it was strictly platonic. So, she made it her goal to woo him into being her friend (possibly even more?) Well, little did she know that, that day would change her life forever..
And that right there, was the start of Jackyuna.
The start of their always.
EPISODE II - CRUSH?
Over the next couple of weeks or so, the pair continued to talk constantly. Yuna loved nothing more than learning new things about him and getting to know him. The minute they started talking she knew she wanted to know everything there was to know about him, from his favorite color to how many marshmallows he could fit in his mouth to his deepest darkest secrets — which would cause her to annoy him with her many random questions. And that’s exactly what she did.. Although, he wasn't around much during the day when he was busy either sleeping, working or doing things for school — she’d be thinking of him. It was no surprise to the girl that the same idiotic smile that only he could bring out of her, appeared on her face as she did so.
Talking to him was her favorite part of the day. Whenever she got the notification that he’d replied, she was straight on it. She knew deep down she was falling into the Jackson trap hard and fast, and there was a small part of her that was scared. Scared that he’d get bored of her, scared to let herself embrace what she was feeling for him, scared that if she did — it wouldn’t be reciprocated. And to be completely honest, she wasn’t sure what to do about it. The flirting, the rabbit dates, the deep conversations and the hanging out only made it harder for her to ignore the nagging in the back of her mind, but she kept it to herself for as long as she could — even when she finally admitted to herself that she was head over heels for him.
She was just hoping, waiting..
Every now and then he would throw around the words "My girl" but she was never sure whether he was just saying it or if he truly meant it. That was until one day when she got a dm from him that made her heart skip a beat. It was a simple meme of her face accompanied the words “I got a crush on this girl. You think I have a chance?” In that moment every worry disappeared and she was ecstatic knowing that her feelings were most certainly NOT one sided. She then ended up telling him that she felt the same way and actually had been for a while. He seemed just as happy as she did.
Thank god.
What were her feelings in that moment?
There was no other way to explain it; other than that, she was literally on cloud nine.
EPISODE III - THE ARGUMENT..
Yuna felt horrible. Her hands were shaking, her heart was racing (not in a good way) and her anxiety was through the roof. She had been having a conversation with someone who had been a part of her life for a very long time and things were more than complicated. The last thing she ever wanted to do was to hurt anyone, especially Jackson whom she had come to adore over time. She thought it over a million times on whether or not she was going to tell him about it, but, she knew he deserved to know and if they were ever going to be anything more; she wanted their relationship to start with;
No secrets. No lies. Complete honesty.
The minute she told him she knew she had ruined things. Even if he still seemed okay for the most part, she knew it hurt him — which only caused her heart to ache even more. I'll spare you the details of what exactly happened but if it were her in his shoes, she would of felt the exact same way..
Yuna wanted nothing more than to fight for him, for them; but, she also didn't want to overwhelm him and make everything worse than what it already was. So, she gave him his space — as much as she hated it. The minute they stopped talking, she missed him; even though she felt as if she didn't have the right to. All she wanted to do was go back in time and never have told him; but, she knew it was necessary — it just killed her knowing that she was the reason he was upset.
That was the moment she realized just how much she cared about Jaewon and that she would do absolutely anything for him.
The next day she got a dm from him and she could once again feel her heart beating out of her chest. He had asked to see her and she had a feeling this could possibly be the end of them — but to her surprise, it wasn't. They talked for hours about how they both felt and she knew it would take him a while for him to fully trust her again (which she would have waited forever for if that's what he wished.) In the end, they both grasped the fact they couldn't let each other go. Yuna had never been more grateful in her life to both Jackson and his stubbornness and she made a promise to herself that she would try to never be the reason for his pain, ever again.
EPISODE IV - WILL YOU BE MY..
The 28th of June 2018. It was like any other day... except, it most certainly was not. Yuna opened her twitter app and replied to her dms as she usually would when she woke, her stomach swarming with butterflies when she finally came to Jackson’s. The pair sent messages back and forth, but something was different; she just had an inkling and she knew him well enough now to know when something was up. They had not long reconciled so she was still very wary of pushing him away and was somewhat worried that she'd done something wrong. That was until he told her he had not slept all night — the reason being something she had only ever dreamed about.
The second Yuna saw the link she knew what it was, she didn’t even have to open it before her eyes started watering. She wasn’t expecting it in the slightest and that only made it so much more special. The fact he put so much effort into it and spent all that time making everything perfect, literally made her heart soar through her chest. There were a million emotions coursing through her body the second she clicked on it and began reading; ranging from shock, to pure joy.
She was in for a ride, that's for sure..
The whole time it involved hanging onto every single word he had written, laughing when he said something that was so Jackson, crying when he mentioned something sweet or when he was telling her how he felt, and through it all; she couldn’t wipe the smile off her face.
When she came to the last page it hit her, he was really asking her to be his girlfriend and she had truly never been happier. Yuna didn’t even have to think about her answer before replying to him in literal gibberish, including a million yes'. From that moment on she knew, this was her person. It didn't matter to her if they hadn't known each other for long or that they had already been through a rough patch; truly, nothing mattered but him and how much she liked him.

Jackyuna was finally official and you could say Yuna felt like she had finally found her reason..
There really was no looking back..
EPISODE V - DISNEY WORLD!
The students of BU were all blessed with a trip to Disney World! (thanks deans<3) It would be Jackyuna's first trip as a couple and to say Yuna was excited would be an understatment. She couldn't wait to explore Florida and all it had to offer with the man of her dreams.
When they arrived the first thing they did was go straight to the main attraction, with of course, Jackson making them get the passes that allowed them to skip the lines and go straight on the rides. The couple rode as many as they could until it was getting late, their last stop being the ferris wheel. The girl knew Jackson hated heights, but even then she forced him to go on it with her; promising that she would distract him.
Yuna kept her promise and held the males hand the entire time, talking about random things to get his mind off the fact they were however many feet in the air. As the ferris wheel stopped at the top, Jackson got a little more anxious and the only the thing she knew the would completely distract him, was a kiss. So — that’s exactly what she did.
It still surprised her how it felt when the couple kissed, much like fireworks going off in the background and a whole swarm of butterflies flying around in her stomach every single time. She always wondered if it were the same for him. Once the ferris wheel was moving once again, she broke the kiss and smiled lovingly up at him; fully aware that she would NEVER get sick of doing that.
The rest of the trip was spent mostly exploring, going back to the theme park when they could, going on double dates with their friends and just enjoying the quality time they had to spend with each other. Yuna didn’t want to leave. But, she knew they had to.
The girl would always remember their first trip and how happy they were the whole time. (including the fact Jackson nearly got left behind.) She made a pact with herself that when they eventually had babies, that Disney World or Disney Land would be one of the first places she would take them.
Because — it was there, she realized; she loved him.
EPISODE VI - LOSING YOU?
This episode mentions death and being revived. This is a trigger warning. Skip if you wish!
It was the night of the 4th of July party. Yuna had started getting ready, messaging Jackson every now and then to find out what their plans were for the night, but out of no where, he just stopped replying; which she found to be quite odd. The girl had been on edge lately. With the attacks of the sisters happening more often, she was terrified something was going to happen to someone she cared about. That’s why when Jackson promised her that he wouldn’t let anything happen to him, she knew deep down it wasn’t a promise he could keep. It was out of all their control.
As she was trying to convince herself nothing was out of the ordinary, she saw a tweet on her timeline that made her heart stop. It felt like her whole world came crashing down around her and there was nothing she could do about it. Her breathing increased and her anxiety was at an all time high. She didn’t want to believe what she saw, but she knew it was happening and that brought her back to reality.
She received what seemed like thousands of messages from their friends asking if she was all right, every single one of them reassuring her that everything will be okay and they’d find him. She was grateful for them more than they’d ever know but in that moment she wasn't worried about how she was feeling. All she could think about was him.
Her phone shook in her unsteady hands as she anticipated every tweet the sisters posted, such as hints of where they may have taken him or any sign of whether or not he was hurt or not. When everyone figured out where he was, she got up to leave so fast that she got head spins. Carpooling with whoever she could, Yuna looked out the window the whole ride, her leg twitching up and down nervously; trying to block out all the worst case scenario thoughts that were racing through her mind.
It felt like all the air had been sucked out of her lungs and she was finding it hard to breathe, if she didn’t have her friends there to keep her sane; she knew she would’ve done something stupid if it meant to save him. The whole time they were trying to get him out of the car, she couldn’t watch; asking Hoshi with a broken voice to tell her what was happening the whole time. Hearing the sounds of people yelling something along the lines of "He's out!" She collapsed to the ground on her knees. She couldn't even bear to go see if he was okay, because she could tell that he wasn't by other people's reactions and seeing him in any sort of pain would break her. It was one of the things she hated most in the world. But, what she found out was worse than she could have ever imagined. Her worst nightmare had come true.
She was numb. There were no tears, no pain, no pleads for him to come back to her. She was completely and utterly, numb. Yuna watched on as the paramedics did everything to bring him back, her hands clenched to her sides as her nails dug into the skin of her palm, most likely drawing blood — but even then, she didn’t feel a thing. When her eyes landed on his lifeless face, all she could do was stare. It didn’t feel real. She didn't want to believe it. She couldn't.
When they finally reached the hospital, everything formed into a massive blur as they rushed him inside; with her trailing along behind them. It wasn’t until she was sitting in the waiting room for what seemed like forever when it all finally started to sink in that he could actually be gone. Her whole body began to shake and tears came streaming down her cheeks at their own accord, the aching in her chest increasing with each second that passed by. What was she going to do without him? It hurt so much — like her heart was breaking into a million pieces right then and there. She was so mad at him (more mad at herself for being helpless.) She was so sad. She was broken. There was no other way to explain it.
She was sitting in a ball in one of the waiting room chairs when the doctor walked in, her face blotchy and red from crying (she was always an ugly crier.) She prepared herself for the worst. Everyone else in the room stood up to hear the news, as they were just as anxious and upset as the girl. "He's alive." The only words she could register when the doctor spoke. Another wave of tears escaping as she got out of her seat faster than she'd ever moved before. She needed to make sure she wasn't dreaming. She had to see him and so she demanded the doctor to lead her to him. A million emotions bubbling inside of her as they approached his room. Please don't be a dream. She repeated to herself softly. Please.
He was there. Lying on the bed. Breathing. Beaten and sore. It wasn't a dream. He was alive.
She broke down again, but this time; she was able to hold his hand and caress his face as she did so. All Yuna wanted to do was wrap herself in his arms and never let him go. She loved him. She loved him so much; more than she would ever be able to comprehend. She knew they had a long road ahead of them, but she was willing to be there for him every step of the way.
That was the scariest day of her life.
Without a doubt.
EPISODE VII - NEW FAMILY MEMBER?
Jackson was finally out of hospital and Yuna was so excited to have her man home and not stuck in that uncomfortable bed with nothing to watch on the tv. She knew he was getting restless and she hated seeing him down, as we should all know by now. After spending so much time in that room and the fact there was a lot going on in their heads, they both needed a little pick me up.
Once Jackson was back in his dorm and his neck brace was removed, he told her Yuna was going to take her on a real date and she was so thankful that even after everything he had been through; he still always wanted to make sure she was happy.
When the big day finally came around, she recieved a picture of a map with three blurred pictures on it from him and a message telling her she had to try and figure out where he was taking her. Yuna not having as many brain cells as she liked to think, couldn’t work them out; so each time he would have to tell her where it was they were going.
The first stop was a puppy shelter. The male knew how much she loved them and when he told her that that’s where they were going, she was over the moon. Not being able to keep her excitement at bay, she was fidgeting all the way there.
She spent most the time there on the floor playing with the small animals but as soon as they saw him they knew — there was no doubt in her mind that he was meant to be theirs.
It didn't take much convincing from either party to decide on adopting him. After filling out all the paperwork and answering all the necessary questions on whether they were able to give the pup a good home; they were finally pet owners to Kit Harington Sato-Park. Yuna spent the rest of the time cuddling and playing with their new baby and when they were leaving, promised him that they would be back the next day to take him home. She was sooo happy.
The next stop on his map the girl was able to guess; Ice skating. Since Yuna had never been ice skating before, she found it sweet how Jackson offered to teach her. The whole experience was filled with laughs, stolen kisses, sore bums from falling often, their very own little karaoke session, a lot of talking about their feelings for each other and enjoying each others company.
The third and final part of their date involved taking a drive in his truck and having a picnic under the stars; just like their first date. When he told her, her heart swelled in her chest. It was incredible how much effort he always put into all things when it came to her and she more than grateful to him. One thing she hoped though was that it was working as a distraction from everything else going on in his life.
The couple talked and cuddled the whole night, a blanket around their bodies as they looked up to the sky. Her, always sneaking a quick look at the male beside her — wondering how she got so lucky. By the end, they were yelling into the darkness about just how much they loved each other. Yuna knew right then that this was the man she wanted to spend forever with.
She was having the time of her life; once again, thanks to Jackson Park.
EPISODE VIII - WHAT IF..
This episode has some mentions of a pregnancy scare so here's a trigger warning. Skip if you wish!
Things were tough for Yuna, she got herself into another pickle with her bestfriend who had confessed their feelings for her and she knew she had to tell Jackson about it. With everything that had happened in the past, you could say she wasn't looking forward to it in the slightest. She was also facing the fact aunt flow was over a week late; something which never happened with her.
Yuna wanted to tackle the whole redacted situation before stressing him out about the possible pregnancy. Without any hesitation she told him about what had been said and tried to reassure him that there was only one man in the world who had her heart. He mentioned it wasn't her he didn't trust but the other person; which was understandable. Either way, things escalated. Jackson wanted to leave (not for good.) to clear his head. Yuna wasn't having any of it. She wanted to talk everything out, she wanted to know what he was thinking and feeling; but most of all she wanted to make him feel better. She couldn't do that if he was too afraid of showing her this side of him.
Yuna told him firmly that if they were going to have any sort of future they had to see every side of one another; the good, the bad and the ugly. She could see where he was coming from and she did feel somewhat guilty for forcing him into something he obviously didn't want to do, but she felt it was necessary for their relationship in the long run. The couple argued back and forth a bit, mentioning things about the incident they were both trying to forget about. Mainly about how she didn't want him to walk away from her because she was terrified if he did, he wouldn't come back. That's what she thought changed Jackson's perceptive on the whole thing. He understood what she meant. Well, she hoped he did.
After it was all said and done and they had made up, she jumped straight in to the other problem(?) they had that he didn't know about. She was more anxious about telling him this than anything she had ever told him before. They had spoken about babies before and she knew he wanted to wait until they both had stable jobs and were as far away from Boston as possible. So, to be completely honest; she was shitting herself. How did she feel about the whole thing though? She was scared. She was nervous — but, there was a tiny part of her that was excited; which she figured came down to the fact it's been something she's always wanted.
Breaking the news to him went better than she expected, she had always known he would never freak out and leave her or anything; but she was just afraid he would end up resenting her, even if it wasn't intentional. Yuna had a feeling he was hiding some of his true thoughts on the situation, but she didn't want to push him — it was a lot to take in for both of them.
When he came back from the store with a pregnancy test, that's when the nerves kicked up a notch for the pair. Either way, the girl knew he would be supportive as that's just the kind of person he was and she knew he loved her; which made it that much easier to her to bite the bullet and get it over and done with. They'd work everything out when they came to it.
Seeing the negative sign on the stick after what felt like hours even though it was literally 3 minutes made her let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding in. Also, a little sad. She could tell Jackson was relieved and she didn't blame him; they weren't ready just yet and she knew that — but she couldn't help the small pang of disappoint she felt. She would keep that thought to herself for the time being though, waiting until it wasn't as fresh.
They would have their family when the time was right, she was sure about that.
She couldn't wait for that day.
EPISODE IX - IMPORTANT MEETING..
The couple had decided to take a trip away for their one month; something she felt like they both deserved. More so, Jackson did.
Yuna’s palms were sweating the whole drive to Long Island, causing her to have to wipe them on her jeans; what seemed like every five minutes. If she was being completely honest, this had to be one of the most nerve wracking moments of her life. She knew how much his mother meant to him and all she wanted to do was impress her and show her that she was the perfect person for her son, even if she herself, didn’t believe it sometimes.
When they finally reached their destination, it was early in the morning and she assumed his mom would be sound asleep; what surprised her though was the fact she was actually waiting for them; as they saw all the lights were on inside. This caused Yuna to have a small nervous breakdown in the car — she firgured she would have more time to prepare herself, but obviously not. Making Jackson have to reassure her that she was going to love her just as much as he did. She trusted him — and that gave her the strength to get herself out of the car and walk hand in hand with him to the front door.
As soon as Momma Park opened the door, she embraced her son — Yuna not being to stop the loving grin from appearing on her face at the sight. It made her heart so full knowing he had someone who loved him so much, as it’s all he ever deserved. When she released him and the two women finally made eye contact, Yuna gave her a small nervous smile, her hands still somewhat clammy. What took her by surprise was the fact she was soon egulfed in her arms — the least thing she ever expected. She will always remember the words that she whispered in the younger girls ear as it was all she ever wanted.
“Thank you for making him so happy.”
Over the course of their stay, Jaewon showed Yuna around for the most part and they made sure to spend as much time with his mom as they could. She could tell he was getting (fake) jealous when his mom would give her attention and not him. She knew she did it on purpose sometimes and that only made it funnier. They were all so similar. She loved them.
Not having much to do with her own parents only made her more thankful to the Park family. More thankful to Jackson for giving her the chance to be a part of their lives. More thankful to Momma Park for being so welcoming and making her feel right at home. More thankful to his sisters for being so kind and treating her like one of their own.
She was thankful to all of them — more then she would ever be able to express in words.
EPISODE X - NEVER LET YOU GO..
This episode has some violent scenes. This is a trigger warning. Skip if you wish!
Blackness and harsh whispering was all Yuna could see and hear as her head throbbed in pain from a hit she was not expecting. Her mind was cloudy, She was stupid. How did she let this happen? Were they going to kill her? Was everyone else okay? Repeating the words "I’m so sorry.." to herself over and over again. Not to the girls that were doing god knows what to her; but to the people she was leaving behind. To her friends. To Jackson.
Yuna knew exactly how Jackson would be feeling right at that moment; as she had been through it before, and it pained her to even think about it. She knew how worried he was about her, he voiced this often. As the pair rarely left each others sides, she figured she was safe. But boy, was she wrong. Being the type of person she is, and maybe it was weird, but right then and there, she was more worried about how he was handling everything than what was happening to her.
She wondered if anyone had realized she was missing or if anyone was looking for her; but she had faith that they were. She had to — as it was one of the limited amount of things that kept her from breaking.
Blocking out the girls’ voices; she didn’t want to hear what they were planning to do to her — it would only make it feel more real if she knew. “Burn it down.” were the three word she couldn’t ignore though. Hearing this, her heart stopped; she began to attempt to flail her arms and legs, but with her being strapped to a chair — there was no use. She finally spoke to the evil girls when she heard their footsteps getting futher away. “Please don’t do this.” She croaked out. All that they did in reply was laugh. She knew she was done for.
She could hear the flames before she could feel them, her breathing was out of control and even though she knew she didn’t have a chance, she continued to try and escape. Doing her best to stay calm, she squeezed her eyes shut and thought about anything else. Her mind always coming back to Jackson.
She thought about the day the meet, their first kiss, the first time they said I love you, the day they went on their date and adopted kit, all of their dates — every moment that they had spent together flashed by and that’s what brought on the tears. She thought about her parents and how they were still on bad terms, her childhood, her friends who she adored, her little kit. Everything. The thing that hurt the most? She didn’t even get to say goodbye.
By now the flames were closing in, her body ached from the beating and her lungs were slowly filling up with smoke; causing her to cough every so often. She had accepted her fate and had not long shut off her emotions. She was ready — and in a few short minutes everything faded to black; signalling she had indeed passed out from smoke inhalation.
When she woke, she was in a hospital bed; as soon as she took her first breath, she regretted it. She had never felt more pain in her life, it was as if something sharp was grazing her lungs every time she inhaled or exhaled. She was confused to say the least, as she was sure she was going to die back there; plus, she had no recollection of what had happened in that moment.
Spotting Jackson on the seat beside her bed on his phone, looking as distressed as ever. She felt horrible for what she put him through; even though she knew it wasn’t really her fault. But seeing him waiting there, already made her feel so much better. There were a lot of tears when he saw she was awake and not much speaking on her part, as it hurt — but she somehow got how she was feeling across.
It was going to be hard for both of them to get over; just as they were still trying to get over what happened with Jackson. A small voice inside told her, they probably never would. But, one thing she knew for sure was that she felt more at ease knowing she had him and he had her. They would both be each others support system.
They were a team and they always would be.
For Life.
EPISODE XI - GOODBYE?
Jackyuna had been talking about leaving for a while, as much as they didn't want to say goodbye to their friends; they felt like there was nothing left for them at BU. They both wanted to get a kick start on their lives and future together. (plus, to get away from all the drama and it would be nice not having to fear for your life every single day.) They decided it was what was best for them and said their goodbyes to everyone. Yuna was a mess, but as usual, Jackson was there to wipe her tears.
The girl was excited but also quite nervous to see how everything would end up going for them. A little sad that she wouldn't be there for them if her friends ever needed her (even if she was only a dm away.) But, she knew they all had each other and that gave her a small piece of mind.
To her, it really didn't matter where she was in the world. As long as she was with Jackson, she would be happy. She was postitive about that.
Because — he was, and always will be; her home.
EPISODE XII - THE PRESENT..
What happened while they were gone? Not much at all. Of course, Momma Park was nothing but welcoming and ecstatic when she heard they were coming; she loved having her boy home even if it was just for a little while.
The couple explored Long Island as much as they could. Jackson made sure to show Yuna all of his favorite places, his secret hideouts, pretty much anywhere that had any significant meaning to him and they even went on adventures to find new spots; making new memories together.
That just leaves us to the present..
Jackyuna decided to come back to BU and stick it out to get their degrees and to graduate with all their friends. Everyone thank Kaia for having a huge roll to play in their return (thanks kaia<3). First of all, their pugs are growing up so fast and thankfully, they finally somewhat get along now (kit being the spoiled brat he is). They’re both working hard to make sure whenever they decide to pop out little Jackson’s and Yuna’s, that they will be able to give them the world and more. Honestly, they're just trying to enjoy their lives as best they can; surrounded by people they love.
In other aspects, the couple is still going strong and are even more in love than ever. Although, they still fake(?) argue about their boyfriends and girlfriends. Yuna still thanks whoever is in charge every day for bringing Jaewon into her life when she needed him most (even though she didn't know it at the time.) She still admires him when he’s asleep next to her. She still gets butterflies when he sends her a sweet message or looks at her a certain way (something she doesn’t think will ever go away.) She still loves his memes and his sense of humor. She still absolutely adores everything about him — and there is no doubt in her mind that that, will ever change..
Lastly.. If you're still here, thank you for sticking around this long.. We’re sorry about the novel. We just have a lot of feelings lol..
Anyway, we can't wait to see where the future takes our favorite couple and we know in 60 years time we'll be bringing you another series of the great Jackyuna Love Story..
